The ongoing priority of the City of Stockton, Municipal Utilities Department is to provide every customer with the highest level of customer service in the most cost-effective ways possible. However, periodic water rate adjustments will be necessary so we can:

  • Ensure sufficient water supplies for current and future planned needs
    • Secure reliable, dry year water supplies
  • Maintain our water facilities and infrastructure
  • Fund necessary costs for operation of the water utility

The City of Stockton recognizes that rate adjustments are difficult for ratepayers, especially during tough economic times, and is working hard to minimize the necessary rate adjustments.

Please review one of the presentations below to learn more about the rate adjustments.
